Jack Drda - “Librarian”
Jack Drda was born in San Francisco and plays the grumpy rule-enforcing “Librarian” in Custodia. While he enjoyed preparing his own backgrounds and props, he found the role challenging because he spent more time making jokes with his friends and classmates and very little time being crabby. He was excited to be part of the play, but admits this is likely his first and last appearance in a musical theater production. Jack loves skateboarding through the streets of San Francisco as well as playing lacrosse, sailing and hanging out with friends. His favorite memory of NDV was the 6th grade trip to Yosemite National Park. He will attend Stuart Hall High School next year. Jack takes inspiration from the famous quote by Martin Luther King, Jr., “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter.”
